What's available
We work with a small number of local businesses we'd genuinely recommend, doctors, dentists, tour operators, drivers, realtors, immigration attorneys, and similar, and refer readers to them through Catalina and through in-article recommendations. When a referral leads to real business, that partner may compensate us for it. We don't take a fixed ad-placement fee and we don't accept payment to feature a business we haven't personally vetted.
We also run standard, disclosed affiliate links for bookable travel products (Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide) on relevant guides.
Separately, through our sister company Norte Conexion, we help local businesses in Medellin build a real website and online presence, that's a distinct, paid service and unrelated to whether we refer to you editorially.

If you run a business you think fits, tell Catalina what you offer, or email hello@medellin.guide with a short description of your business and how you currently work with foreign clients. We vet every referral partner personally before adding them.
